Why We Collect Data

Your data is processed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and core features of the Tool of the Trades application, including:

  • Workforce Collaboration: Delivering real-time chat, file sharing, voice messages, and team notifications.
  • Performance and Income Analytics: Visualizing organizational revenue metrics, tracking progress toward annual targets, and compiling leaderboards.
  • Operational Security: Preventing API abuse and unauthorized activity through Firebase App Check and secure user authentication.
  • App Integrity: Gathering crash diagnostics to resolve stability issues immediately.

Data Identity Linking

Yes, the collected data is linked directly to your user identity.

Your profile data, financial targets, chat contributions, and usage metrics are bound directly to your unique Firebase Authentication User ID (UID). This linkage is fundamental to providing customized organizational roles, secure data scopes, and restricted role-based privileges within your company.

Who Processes Your Data (Subprocessors)

We work with trusted industry leaders to host the app resources, secure our channels, and manage platform interactions. We do not sell your personal data.

Firebase / Google

Processes Auth credentials, Firestore databases, Cloud Storage files, FCM tokens, Google Analytics events, Crashlytics reports, and App Check security audits.

Email / SMTP Providers

Mailtrap or Nodemailer/Gmail servers are used to safely dispatch corporate onboarding invites, system alerts, password-reset emails, and support correspondence.

Device Permissions Required

Depending on your active features, our mobile app may request the following system permissions to operate. You can toggle these permissions at any time within your device settings:

Camera & Photos

Required to upload profile avatars and capture or share photos directly within the team chat.

Microphone

Required to record and broadcast instant voice notes in organizational conversations.

Storage & Files

Required to select, attach, download, and review spreadsheets, PDF reports, or media attachments.

Notifications

Used to send immediate alerts for direct messages, leaderboard milestones, and critical business announcements.

Data Retention Policy

We retain your profile info, objectives, performance metrics, and communications for as long as your application account is active or as necessary to support valid business audits and historical performance tracking within your employer's workspace.

If you or your workspace administrator chooses to terminate your account, all personal identifiers and device-linked profiles are immediately queued for permanent deletion.

Deletion & Contact Method

We respect your right to control your information. You have full transparency and self-governance over your data.

Account Deletion inside the App:
You can delete your account instantly by navigating to Account > Delete Account inside the mobile application. This triggers a secure cascade that purges your personal profile, credentials, and configuration from our directories.
